The first ride on 9 March went to Port Melbourne and back to St Kilda. Since then, they’ve cycled to Brighton where they had marked their achievement by lunch on the pier. Sandringham is the next destination,
PPHA is working with Back2Bikes to run four courses over eight weeks which include road safety, bike maintenance and six group rides. The workshops are held at the Prahran Mission.
The rides involve a volunteer from Back2Bikes to assist with any maintenance and a PPHA employee to be a ‘sweeper’ for anyone left behind and to assist during the rides.
